蒲剧是流传在山西的一门独特戏种，其中血彩是蒲剧中最令人击节赞叹的绝活。所谓血彩，即是演员表演是在嘴里含一口血浆，然后用气上顶，令血浆从眼耳鼻口中喷出，造成七窍流血的惊人视觉效果。美丽女孩晗玥（刘庭羽 饰）是血彩艺术的唯一传人，她从小跟随师父碧洛（王芳 饰）学习。碧洛多年来忍辱负重，一心要将血彩推广发扬。近一段时期团里准备进京汇演，碧洛想尽各种办法要让徒弟抓住这次机会，可是晗玥始终未能掌握血彩的本领，团里最终决定将血彩从汇演剧目中拿下。这一事件给碧洛造成莫大的打击，她日渐乖张的精神状态引起了晗玥的担忧。 仿佛被血彩诅咒了一般，师徒二人的精神状态相继走向崩溃的边缘……

　Follows the story of a prospective husband and wife named Salim and Tasya. The two decided to move their pre-wedding photo shoot to Salim's family home after his aunt, Salim's only blood relative, passed away. In addition to having to take care of his aunt's funeral, Salim also had to continue the family ritual of burning incense every day on a mysterious altar. If not, his life would be in danger. Unexpectedly, their presence along with the photo shoot team in the house actually made the spirits of Salim's ancestors who died during the Japanese occupation appear and start terrorizing them. Instead of feeling afraid, Tasya was moved to uncover the mystery of Salim's family's past in order to free her prospective husband from his obligations so that they could leave the house.
