以大泽俊太郎的漫画《DIVER-组对潜入班-》为基础的本作品，是以为了驱逐恶的根源而不择手段的“最凶”潜入搜查官·黑泽兵悟为主人公的不停悬疑作品。10多岁的时候是盗窃和暴力事件的惯犯的兵悟，但是拥有异常高的IQ和判断力和身体能力，成为秘密结成的潜入搜查官队伍，通称“D班”的一员。那项工作是潜入暴力团、欺诈集团等邪恶组织，去获取情报和证据，是一个很有可能丧命的特殊搜查。
